Hello my name is Rodd and I am known as Hott Rodd the Hair Godd. I have been lucky enough to create success with my hair career rather late in life. I did not start until I was 35yo. I was a former computer programmer (17 years), a life that I honestly slept thru. Now I have so much fun that I am surrounded with clients that enjoy the experience I offer them in style and beauty for men and women alike.
Last week I was offered a chance to create a look for Mandy Moore while she was in Dallas for a concert. Too bad I could not respond quick enough to do it, but I was called for it, my day is coming........right?
I was selected for Sheer Genius (BRAVO network) to appear on the first season, and again bad luck stopped me from doing that as well. Something about budget cuts, so my plane ticket was voided 3 days before filming began. They tell me I could be on season 2, 3 or 4........since there were so many to apply and make it. Not all of us could be on the first show. I am waiting for my call.......we will see. I have high hopes for this and my career.
I have judged many pageants and supported many girls in their endeavors to win titles. I am honored to be involved and highly sought after for this duty, which causes me to travel a lot judging.
Right now I am taking care of my 82yo Mom who has Alzheimer's. At the moment she knows me, but she doesn't know much of anything else. At least she is in a happy safe and warm place (mind, body and spirit).
I am single and waiting on Keanu Reeves to admit he loves me.......LOL Yes I am a major dreamer.........
